First exploration of the city in the colonial district: Sule Pagoda, the pier, and the reclining Buddha 70 meters long. Visit the beautiful Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. Overnight in Yangon.
Departure for the Golden Rock (5-hour drive). Arrival at the foot of the mountain and departure by caravan to climb the last kilometers (approximately 1 hour). Arrival at the village of the Golden Rock and discover the spectacular rock covered with gold and its balance at the edge of a cliff. Overnight at the hotel on site.
Back to the foot of the hill in a truck. Drive to Mawlamyine (about 2 hours) via rubber, cashew nut, and pomelo plantations. First exploration of the city. Visit Mahamuni Pagoda, KyaikThan Lan Pagoda, and Seindone monastery—decorated with wooden reliefs. Sunset from “View Point”. Overnight in Mawlamyine.
Enjoy a 4-hour boat cruise to the village of Kadoe, touring beautiful landscapes. Visit the village of Kadoe and its authentic monastery decorated in teak wood. Visit KyaukKalat Pagoda before arriving at Hpa An. Overnight in Hpa An.
Visit the natural caves of Kawkun and YathaePyan. Boat trip around Sadan Cave. Visit Mount Zwekabin, Lumbini Park, and stroll through a Karen village to discover their ways of life. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hpa An.
Back to Yangon by road through many towns and villages. Visit the Bago site on the way to Yangon. Visit ShweTharlaung (reclining buddha), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, and Kyaik Pun Pagoda. Continue to Yangon and arrive in Yangon at the end of the afternoon. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
